Act of Consecration to the Sacred Heart of Jesus
O Sacred Heart of Jesus, to Thee I consecrate and offer up my person and my life, my actions, joys, prayers, and sufferings, that my entire being may henceforth be devoted to nothing but to loving, serving, and glorifying Thee. This is my unchanging purpose, namely, to be all Thine, and to do all things for Thy love, renouncing with my whole heart all that is displeasing to Thee.
I take Thee, O Sacred Heart, for the sole object of my love, the protection of my life, the pledge of my salvation, the remedy of my frailty and inconstancy, the reparation for all the defects of my life, and my secure refuge at the hour of my death. Be Thou, O most merciful Heart, my justification before God the Father, and ward off from me the strokes of His just wrath. O loving Heart, I place all my confidence in Thee. I fear all things from my own weakness, but I hope for all things from Thy goodness and mercy.
Consume in me all that can displease Thee or resist Thy holy will. Let Thy pure love so absorb me as to make me one with Thee, so that I may no longer live, but Thou alone mayst live in me. Amen.
Act of Reparation to the Sacred Heart of Jesus
O most holy Heart of Jesus, fountain of every blessing, I adore Thee, I love Thee, and with a lively sorrow for my sins, I offer Thee this poor heart of mine. Make me humble, patient, pure, and wholly obedient to Thy will. Grant, good Jesus, that I may live in Thee and for Thee. Protect me in dangers, comfort me in afflictions, assist me in all my undertakings. Give me the grace of Thy holy love, the forgiveness of Thy sins, perseverance unto death, and union with Thee in heaven. Amen.
